Scientists, hackers, physicians, and startup addicts: you are invited once again to Bio+Tech. Come hang out, have intense arguments about your favorite technical topics, drink beers, and get to know your collegues. As always, we welcome those who have an interest in the intersection between the lifesciences and information technology. Whether your research is the interpertation of genomic data, health records, or the use of mobile phones in medicine, as long as you have a passion for combining these two technology sectors at the heart of San Francisco you will fit right in.
This month we also encourage you to think about problems in the scientific domain which, with our powers combined, can have a rough solution hammered out within a day or two of work. The following write up may help get the juices flowing.
As with the last few gatherings, we will be hosted by Giordano Bros in the mission. You gotta love them for the beer specials they give us, "to alcohol, the cause of and solution to all of life's problems."
